The Rev. Dr. Paul H. Sherry came out of retirement to coordinate Let Justice Roll, the national anti-poverty mobilization sponsored by the National Council of Churches and Center for Community Change. He is a former President of the United Church of Christ and long-time advocate for economic justice and civil rights. He continues to work with the National Campaign for Jobs and Income Support and serve as secretary-treasurer of the National Interfaith Committee for Worker Justice.

Born in Tamaqua, Penn., Dr. Sherry received his master of divinity and doctorate degrees from Union Theological Seminary. He also has a bachelor’s degree from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa. His career has included service as a pastor, author, religious television and radio program host and church president.
